Supporting Community Wellbeing with The National Lottery Community Funding

Earlier this year, Blue Lotus Collective CIC was delighted to receive funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to support our work with families and communities.

This funding has enabled us to continue creating welcoming, inclusive spaces where parents, carers, children and individuals can come together to feel supported, heard and strengthened. At the heart of our work is a simple belief: when people feel connected and supported, they are better able to navigate life’s challenges and build positive futures for themselves and their families.

With the support of The National Lottery Community Fund, we will be able to deliver activities and initiatives that focus on connection, creativity and everyday support. These spaces allow participants to pause, reflect, learn new skills, share experiences and build relationships with others who understand the realities of family and community life.

This funding will also help us reach people who may otherwise face barriers to accessing support — reducing isolation and creating opportunities for families to feel more confident, capable and connected within their communities.

We are incredibly grateful to National Lottery players, whose support makes this work possible. Their contribution helps community-led organisations like ours respond to real needs, shaped by lived experience and local voices.

As we move forward, we remain committed to listening to our community, growing sustainably and ensuring our programmes continue to support families in meaningful, practical and lasting ways.
